Os júris do MAP-PDMA (Programa Doutoral em Matemática Aplicada das Universidades do Minho, Aveiro e Porto) são formados por 5 vogais doutorados e 1 presidente. O conjunto formado pelos 5 vogais deve satisfazer os seguintes quatro requisitos:

  1. Conter apenas um membro da equipa de orientação;
  2. Conter dois membros da universidade onde é defendida a tese, sendo um deles membro da equipa de orientação;
  3. Conter um docente ou investigador de uma das outras duas universidades parceiras, preferencialmente pertencente a uma das unidades/subunidades associadas ao programa;
  4. Conter dois membros não pertencentes a qualquer uma das três universidades parceiras, de instituições diferentes.

Sempre que possível, e sem prejudicar a qualidade do júri,  o conjunto formado pelos 5 vogais deve possuir uma representação equilibrada de género.
